According to the latest Rasmussen report, only 21% of “likely U.S. voters” want the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to regulate the Internet as it does radio and television. 54% of those surveyed oppose increased regulation of the Internet, and 25% admit that they are simply unsure.
The underlining message of those surveyed is that “American voters believe free market competition will protect Internet users more than government regulation and fear that regulation will be used to push a political agenda,” according to Rasmussen Reports.
