The Free State Foundation held a seminar yesterday in Washington, DC entitled Regulatory Reform at the FCC: Why Not Now? C-Span reports that the Chairman of a House subcommittee that oversees the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) spoke during the forum on ways he would like to change the FCC’s regulatory authority. Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) discussed the FCC’s “net neutrality” regulations followed by a panel discussion, which included representatives from the major Internet service providers and the FCC chairman’s chief of staff.
Very interesting dialogue, view the event via C-Span’s coverage.
